- Prepare For Making Ragada:
- Make ready 250 gms Dried White Peas
- Make ready 2 tablespoon Oil
- Make ready 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
- Prepare 1/4 cup Chopped Onion
- Prepare 1 teaspoon Ginger-garlic paste
- Make ready 1/2 cup Chopped Tomatoes
- Take 1 tablespoon Chopped Green Chillies
- Take 1/4 Turmeric powder
- Get 1 teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
- Get 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
- Get 1 teaspoon Chaat Masala
- Take 2-3 tablespoon water
Instructions to make Ragda Patties:
- Grate the potatoes in a bowl. - Soak the poha in 2 tbsp water for 10-15 minutes. - Add grated potatoes, soaked poha and all the other tikki ingredients in a bowl and mix well. - Grease your hands with oil and divide the dough into 6 equal parts. - Make each part into a ball and then press gently to make a tikki. - Refrigerate the tikki for 30 minutes.
- Heat oil for frying the tikki in a pan. - When the oil is hot, add the tikki and fry on medium heat until tikki are browned and crisp from all the sides.
- To Make Ragada: soaking white peas overnight and boil it.
- Now, heat 2 tablespoon oil in a pan and add 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds in it. - After that add ¼ cup of chopped onions and saute them until they become beautiful golden brown. - After saute the onions for 2 minutes, add 1 teaspoon of ginger-garlic paste in the mix. Stir the onion and the paste well for another 1 minute in medium heat. - When the color of the onion turns golden brown add ½ cup of chopped tomatoes in them. 1 tablespoon chopped fresh green chillies and cook them till the tom
